his policies are the same as Bush, now his recipes match food network
Published on April 16, 2008 By The_Politico In Republican
Gee, another example of Republican creativity as the McSame campaign was caught attempting to steal recipes from the Food Network site and credit them as "McSame Family Recipes" on their site.

The McSame campaign immediately began to blame someone else.  Taking a page from the GW handbook he immediately blamed an unnamed intern and denied he was accountable for the actions of his own campaign.

Oh well, you blew it again. But nice first try. Maybe next time you can actually get all the facts right.

Do you know what an ultra Maroon is?

Gee, yet you cannot cite anything I said that was incorrect. What a shock.

With how recipes are, I honestly don't see how it can be plagiarism.

Taking something created by someone else, publish it as your work.

That is the textbook definition of plagiarism.

Have you been able to find anything that I was wrong about yet?

Gee of course not. But then you will just run and hide.

SP knows something about that.

Oh wow, that is really bad. Next thing you know he'll be telling made up tales about sniper fire and making elitist, condescending remarks about middle class working people who live in small towns. Yep, terrible person.

So you are on record favoring plagarism. Any other crimes you favor?

So you are on record favoring plagarism.

Pray tell, where did I say that?

By the way, the word is spelled plagiarism, not plagarism.

Right where you justified McSame's plagiarism by bringing up Hillary Clinton.

You admitted that you are in favor of commission of plagiarism.

Tex, was that really necessary? It's been a long, long time since any of that happened, so lets just forget it. Would be appreciated.

I realize that, but you see it all the time. *shrugs* Meh, I don't plan on doing it, so I don't know why I bother asking. I suck a cooking.

Considering recipes can't be copyrighted, I don't see it as much of a big deal. (Yes, individual recipes are specifically excluded under copyright law.)

They should keep better track of what's on their website and what claims are made about it, though. If they present something as someone's favorite recipes, they should be just that. It shouldn't matter if the recipes happen to have originated elsewhere, as long as they're really the person's favorite recipes (which these apparently weren't).

McCain's a big enough nit, anyway. Clouding it over with "issues" as ridiculous as this only distracts from his real flaws, and frankly plays into his hand in a "Well, if that's the worst thing they can say about him!" way.

BTW, love this quote (emphasis mine) from the McCain campaign regarding the "pilfering intern:"

The intern has been dealt with,” said Tucker Bounds, a campaign spokesman, who declined to provide details. "Nonetheless," Mr. Bounds said, “we took away his zero pay.”

Well, that'll show him!

(Quote from a NYT article.)

There are only two possibilities from this. Namely
a) They are telling the truth and they were incompetent enough to actually let an intern publish something to their website without checking on it. In which case you cannot help but question their ability to run the country if they can't supervise an intern

thats actually what McSame's drug addict charity thief wife gave to the intern, and they aren't going to actually blame the guilty party. In which case you cannot help but question their honesty and fitness to run the country.

Please show me the exact words I used to "justify" anything. I haven't justified anything of the sort.

Glad to see you corrected your spelling error. I guess you're learning.

Isn't Hussein Obama a plagiarist as well?
